In Loving Memory of Kristopher Pignone

The Lowville community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Kristopher Pignone, 44, who died Thursday following a motorcycle crash in the Town of Watson.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, emergency personnel were called to Number Four Road at approximately 6:32 p.m. after the Lewis County 911 Communications Center received a report of a motorcycle crash.

An investigation determined that Pignone was operating a 2023 Honda CRF300 motorcycle southwest along Number Four Road when the motorcycle entered the shoulder of the roadway. The incident caused Pignone to lose control of the motorcycle, resulting in the fatal crash.

Pignone was pronounced dead at the scene. His death has left family members, friends, neighbors and others who knew him facing an immense sense of loss.

At 44 years old, Kristopher’s life represented years of experiences, relationships, memories and moments shared with the people around him. While the circumstances of his passing were sudden and tragic, the impact of his life will continue through the memories held by those who knew and cared about him.
