In Loving Memory of Ronald and Susan Kuyken

With heavy hearts, we remember Ronald Kuyken, 74, and Susan Kuyken, 65, of Fremont, Ohio, whose lives were tragically lost following a motorcycle crash in Seneca County on Friday, August 28, 2026.

The couple was traveling together on a three-wheeled Harley-Davidson Freewheeler when their journey came to a heartbreaking end at the intersection of State Route 18 and County Road 26 in Hopewell Township. The crash happened at approximately 2:50 p.m.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a Ford Taurus traveling west on County Road 26 failed to yield at a posted stop sign and collided with the motorcycle. Ronald suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Susan was transported to Mercy Health–Tiffin Hospital, where she later passed away from her injuries.

While the circumstances of their deaths are heartbreaking, Ronald and Susan deserve to be remembered for the lives they lived and the memories they created. Their absence will leave an immeasurable void in the hearts of family members, friends, and everyone who knew them.

Sudden loss can be incredibly difficult to understand. Loved ones are left holding onto photographs, stories, shared experiences, and countless precious memories. Those memories become a lasting connection to the people who are no longer physically present.

Today, we honor Ronald and Susan with love and respect. May their family find strength and comfort during this painful time, and may the memories they shared together bring peace in the days ahead.
