With heavy hearts, we remember Gregory Christopher II, 36, of Parker City, Indiana, whose life was tragically cut short in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 69 in Fishers.
According to the information provided, emergency calls began coming in around 9:45 p.m. after reports of a person lying near a van on the right shoulder of northbound I-69, just south of Exit 210. When first responders arrived, they found Gregory deceased.
Investigators believe Gregory had experienced a flat tire and was outside his van attempting to repair it when he was struck by a northbound vehicle. The driver involved reportedly left the scene.
Gregory was more than the victim of a tragic highway accident. He was a son, family member, friend, and loved one whose life mattered deeply to those around him.
