In Loving Memory of Noah Graham Boaz

With profound sadness, we remember Noah Graham Boaz, 29, of Wichita, Kansas, whose life was tragically cut short in a fatal collision south of McConnell Air Force Base.

According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred Wednesday afternoon on 47th Street South between Rock Road and Woodlawn Boulevard. Deputies were called to the scene at approximately 1:55 p.m. after a serious collision involving a Honda Accord and a food delivery box truck.

Noah, who was driving the Honda Accord, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His death has left family members, friends, loved ones, and members of the Wichita community facing an unimaginable loss.

Investigators said the Honda was traveling westbound on 47th Street South while the delivery truck was traveling in the opposite direction. According to the preliminary information released by authorities, the Honda crossed the centerline, resulting in a devastating head-on collision.

The driver of the food delivery truck, a 55-year-old Wichita man, survived the crash but was injured and transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Emergency responders worked at the scene as authorities secured the roadway and began the difficult process of investigating what had happened.

For those who knew Noah, the circumstances surrounding his passing cannot erase the memories he leaves behind. A life that held hopes, plans, relationships, and countless ordinary moments was suddenly brought to an end. His passing is a painful reminder of how quickly circumstances can change and how deeply the loss of one person can affect an entire circle of loved ones.

The roadway between Rock and Woodlawn was temporarily closed while emergency crews responded to the collision and investigators examined the scene. The road has since reopened to through traffic.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Major Crash Team is leading the investigation. Authorities continue to work to establish the complete circumstances surrounding the collision, and the preliminary information remains subject to the ongoing investigation.
