In Loving Memory of Robert M. Finnefrock — Remembering a Life Touched by a Serious Route 322 Crash

With sadness, we remember Robert M. Finnefrock, 63, of Corsica, following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Route 322 and Spencer Drive in Rose Township.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Finnefrock was attempting to turn left from Spencer Drive onto Route 322 when his vehicle entered the path of a westbound vehicle operated by Tyler S. Simpson, 42, also of Corsica. The resulting collision caused Finnefrock’s vehicle to spin before it struck another vehicle operated by Guy K. Swails, 64, of Sligo, which was stopped in the eastbound lane.

Swails sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported by Jefferson County EMS to Penn Highlands Brookville for medical treatment. Authorities reported that Finnefrock is expected to be cited for failing to yield while entering the highway.
